About the Job

Ready to Lead, Build, and Make an Impact? Taulia is in search of a collaborative and experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in a fast-paced, evolving organization — with the added challenge of supporting our expanding operations across an increasing number of global locations.

 

Location: United Kingdom (Hybrid) - Must be able to commute to our London Office a few days a week (Address: Level 7, Unit H, 201 Bishopsgate, Broadgate, City of London, London, EC2M 3AE)

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Drive international accounting operations and compliance requirements as we expand into new global markets
  • Collaborating with finance and cross-functional teams to enhance financial systems, controls, and workflows
  • Identifying and resolving accounting issues with sound judgment and a solutions-first mindset
  • Managing month-end and year-end close processes, reporting, and reconciliations for assigned areas/entities
  • Contribute to projects and Ad hoc analysis and reporting requests, as assigned
  • Continuously work towards improving efficiency and accuracy of financial results 
  • Document processes and desk procedures for certain cycles, as assigned
  • Supervise and develop team members, as applicable

  • Solid experience in accounting, including leadership roles within dynamic organizations
  • A solid understanding of U.S.GAAP/IFRS and operational accounting best practices
  • Proven ability to work independently and drive results in a complex, fast-growing environment
  • The ability to connect the dots and understand the "why" behind the numbers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional and global contexts

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of accounting/finance work experience
  • Public accounting experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and financial accounting systems – NetSuite is preferred, SAP is a plus
  • Hands-on experience implementing scalable solutions
  • Strong end-to-end process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet established deadlines
  • Eagerness to learn and expand into new areas of responsibility
  • Self-starter who focuses on the goal at hand and sees projects through to completion
  • Ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
