About the Job

Taulia is looking for a Head of Account Management - Americas to join our growing team. As the regional leader for the account management team, you will be accountable for the success of existing account cross sell and upsell for the Americas region. The responsibility for existing Taulia customers will encompass overall relationship returns, the cross-selling of new Taulia solutions, as well as expansion and upleveling of executive relationships including securing the participation of customer executives at Taulia events.

You will lead a cross-functional team, develop and implement strategies to drive success. 


As the regional Head of Account Management, you must have an established track record of leading sales teams, excellent relationship management acumen, the ability to represent the organization at an executive level and a firm understanding of working capital finance. You will be able to understand team members' goals, ambitions and needs, manage expectations, drive individual and team performance and reinforce Taulia’s culture.You will also be responsible for translating these intangibles into increased revenues and opportunities for Taulia.  

Responsibilities

  • Manage, motivate and develop a team of sales managers in the Americas region
  • Up-level sales manager team skills
  • Hire, promote and manage out team members to create a culture of excellence
  • A deep appreciation for Taulia’s vision and ability to inspire the same vision internally and externally
  • Act as a point of escalation for the team members for challenges and opportunities
  • Secure positive outcomes from challenging situations
  • Efficiently leverage Taulia’s resources to drive the customer’s success and revenue growth
  • Work closely with other Taulia team leads, Business Consultants, Sales Teams, Supplier Success, Taulia Trade Technology, Legal and Product teams to support customers 
  • Work closely with Marketing to secure client participation in marketing events

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required

  • 15+ years experience in relationship management of large corporates
  • 10+ years of structured finance, trade finance, or related experience
  • Prior demonstrable success in executing enterprise sales cycles to large corporates 
  • Capable of communicating effectively with executive management and a variety of personality styles
  • Ability to understand clients problems, develop strategies, and secure successful outcomes
  • Strong ability to build consensus in team environments
  • Ability to instill confidence, trust and loyalty from team members
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and urgency

Nice to Have:

  • Located in Chicago, Palo Alto, San Francisco Bay Area
  • Supply chain finance, receivables finance, securitization or inventory finance experience
  • SaaS, SAP or financial services expertise
