About the Job

We're searching for a talented and passionate Fullstack Developer to join one of our dynamic product experience development teams. In this role, you'll be instrumental in crafting elegant, scalable solutions that power our innovative financial technology. You'll work across the stack, contributing to both our modern frontend experiences and robust backend systems.

As a Fullstack Developer at Taulia, you will:

• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code in React, TypeScript, and Java/Groovy, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.

• Tackle complex technical challenges head-on, not only solving problems but also proactively identifying and preventing potential issues.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive and highly interactive user interfaces with React or TypeScript.

• Contribute to robust backend services using Java/Groovy.

• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all developed code, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

• Contribute to the evolution of our "legacy" applications, which may involve working with jQuery and server-side pages.

• Actively participate in code reviews, feature planning, daily standups, and user story grooming sessions.

• Operate with a high degree of autonomy, confidently debugging complex errors and solving intricate problems.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required

• Modern Frontend Frameworks: Deep expertise in a modern JavaScript framework, particularly React and/or Typescript, including extensive experience with React functional components and hooks.

• Java: Proven professional experience in Java development, demonstrating a strong grasp of its ecosystem and best practices.

• Fullstack API Design & Development: A solid understanding and practical experience in designing, developing, and consuming robust APIs.

• Debugging & Architectural Understanding: Exceptional debugging skills coupled with a clear understanding of system architecture and data flow.

• JavaScript Unit Testing: Proficiency in writing comprehensive JavaScript unit tests using frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.

• SQL Mastery: A thorough and comprehensive understanding of SQL for efficient data manipulation and database interaction.
